                                                   Tangled

        Tangled is a newer remake of Rapunzel. Rapunzel is kidnapped by an witch who locks Rapunzel up in a tall tower. The witch kidnaps Rapunzel because of Rapunzel's long hair. Then prince comes saves Rapunzel be climb her long her to reach the top.In Tangled its like the same thing. The girl lock in the tower and a guy comes to save her.

         I want to see the movie Tangled it looks like a goo movie. It is a good movie for the whole family. Some actors/ actress in this movie are Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, and Donna Murphy. It was released Nov. 24, 2010. Tangled can be seen in 3D but only in certain theaters.

        Were I got my information from was movies.com and imdb.com. You can get more information on Tangled or any other movie at those dot coms. This dot coms can tell you released dates, summaries on the movies and the actors/actress in the movie.

                                   Unstoppable
           Unstoppable is about an unstoppable train that is on the main route. The train is carrying flammable materials. The people in charge of  the train have to stop it before it falls on the tracks and blows up a whole town. The stars in this movie are Denzel Washington, Chris Pine, Rosario Dawson, Kevin Corrigan, Ethan Suplee, and Kevin Dunn.

            I have seen Unstoppable it is a very good movie. It has a lot of twist to it. This is a movie that makes you want to yell at the screen. It keeps you guessing all the way through. i agree with this critic. He explains how the movie is good and people should go see it. He also talks about  why the movie is good.

                 I would recommend people to good see it. Unstoppable is #5 in the box office. This must be good to make is to #5 in the box office. Go See It!!!

                                                        For Colored Girls

      For Colored Girls is about for women going through problems. These problems can be a problem for anyone of any race. Mick LaSalle, the person who wrote this article, talks about how this movie was once a poem. Tyler Perry did a good job making the blog into a movie. he incorporated some of the peom in the movie.

      This article tells what movie their talking about. The author talks about why he thinks the movie is a good movie. My other blog entries all include articles where the author talks about the movie and thier opinion.

      I want to see For Colored GIrls and after readimg this article I want to read it even more. I think this movie will be a very good movie and peole will be talkingabout this movie. I think everyone should go see it. If you want to read the article yourself you can read it at sfgate.com

                            Miley Cyrus to go 'Undercover' in Action Movie

          Miley Cyrus will be acting in a movie called 'So Undercover'. It is a action and comedy movie. This was written by Access Hollywood. miley is said to be playing an undercover FBI agent. she goes undercover at a college sorority.         I think this will be a little different for Miley Cyrus to do a movie with her sing because in mostly if not all her movies she sung. The movie sounds like a good movie. I cant wait to hear more about it.  

I think she will do a good job in the movie. This will be something different for her to do. I have never seen her act in a action movie.

                                      Downey, Galifianakis Hit the Road in 'Due Date'

             On yahoo.com they talk about the movie 'Due Date'. It will be released Friday November 24, 2010. The movie is about a man traveling from Atlanta to Los Angeles so he can be there for his wife and the birth of his first child. After an incident before the plane took off, he is stuck on a road trip with a complete stranger. The movie is a comedy and rated

            I think the movie will be funny. If you have seen the movie 'Hangover' and liked it you will probably like this movie too. these movies are dircted by ther same person, Todd Phillips. This movie will have the whole theater laughing.

            If you want to see a good comedy you should go see this. This movie will probaby be as funny as the 'Hangover' or funnier. I recomend you see this movie.

                                                        Hereafter

          Thomas Leupp wrote an movie review on the movie Hereafter found on hollywood.com. The movie Hereafter is about 3 people who have a connection to death. Their stories are told from sad to saddest. After their interaction with death they get a look at the after life. In their search their lives intersect. The movie as touch parts and a good ending.
          The article explained the movie and the writer gave his opinion. This article is like my other blogs. It gives what its about and opinions. I have not see the movie Hereafter but after reading about the movie it makes me want to go see it. 
           I think peole will go see this movie. It probably will make a lot of money and be in the movie theaters for a while.  The movie looks good and probably will be.

                           Paranormal Activity 2 Expands it Box Office Reign Overseas

            My article is about the movie Paranormal  Activity 2 and other movies going overseas and making it into the box office. This was written by a Hollywood reporter. I found this article on yahoo.com/movies. The article says that Paranormal Activity 2 was number 1 in the box office in the U.S., Canada, Russia. Australia, and Mexico and made number 2 in France, Korea, and Spain. The movie the Social Network was number 1 in Norway, Swedon, and Ukraine and mad $10 million and overseas it made $32.2 million. The article as a lot more movies like Despicable Me, Life As We Know, Red, Eat Pray Love, and many more.

             I found this artilce intereating because it talks about how much a movie is making and its ratings. This article can help you figure out what movie you want to see at the movies because which ever movie is making the most that probavly good movie to see. As reading this article i did not expect to see Despicable Me on the list because it is not in the movie theaters anymore but as I read on I found out it is still playing in different place in the world.

             I think people should look at this article and see what movies made what rankings in the box office. People might be suprised what movies they see on there such as Depicable Me. You can find other ranking on hollywoodrepoter.com.

                                                    Life As We Know It

           My news article is about the film Life As We Know It. It was written by Gary Murry on bigfanboy.com. In the article he talks about the movie and how he thought the movie would be and how it turned out. The movie it about a couple who dies and leaves their one year old daughter,Sophie, with there two totally opposite friends. When they decide to obey their friends wishes and raise their best friends baby they experience parenthood.

            I found this article interesting because it is about a movie I have seen and I agree with the critic when he said the movie was good. From the previews of the movie on T.V. I know it would be good and I would want to go see it.

            To me the movie was very funny and the whole theater was laughing. It would be a movie I would see again. I think it is a good movie to see. It would not be a waste of money. If you want to go see a comedy with a little romance you should go see Life As We Know It.

                                           'Titanic' to Return to the Big Screen

         

      My news article is about the movie producers of Titanic making it into a 3D movie. I found this article on yahoo news. The article does not say who wrote it. They say that they will be making Titanic and Star Wars in 3D. They still do not have a company to make the movie in 3D yet.

      If found this article interesting because i didn't think anybody would think of making Titanic into a 3D movie. I think it is kind of pointless to make Titanic into a 3D movie because Titanic is a great movie without it being in 3D and it will still be great if they put in 3D.  I think if Titanic is back in the movie theaters than people would probably go see it because it is in 3D but if it was not in 3D many people would not go see it because they already have the movie at home or will watch it when it comes in T.V.

      The people that make the movie in 3D should do a good job of choosing what scenes to make 3D because they want people to say the movie was good so other people can go see it. Some people will just go see it just because it is in 3D. Would you go see it?

'Titanic' to return to the big screen

           The movie Titanic is coming to the movies in 3D in 2012. The movie Star Wars is also coming in 3D in 2012. They say that they plan to release Titanic in April of 2012. The people who will change Titanic in 3D is not yet determined.

            I think them making Titanic into a 3D movie is kind of pointless because Titanic is a very great movie and it would not change if it was in 3D. I do thinks it’s a good idea to Titanic back into the movies because everybody would want to see it. It would make a lot of money but maybe not because some people already have the movie on DVD or they can watch it on TV.

            I think some people will see it and some people wont. The people who make the movie in 3D has to do a very good job. Would you see it?

I was reading an article by Stephen Faber on hollywoodreporter.com and it was talking about the new movie Takers.  The article was about the critics’ opinion on the movie and how he feels about it. He also describes what happens in the movie and the characters. The weak and strong parts are discussed.

I found this article interesting because it gives good details of the movies and makes you want to go see it. The author explains the movie, the good parts and how he feels overall. This article relates to my blog and my previous entries because it is about movies. This article describes most of things I said I would talk about.

I agree with what the critic is saying. I, myself, have also seen Takers. It was a great movie. It keeps you guessing and wanting to see more. It has a good twist and a little comedy too. As the critic said the stunt are amazing. As things blow up, shootings go down, and people run around it gives you a lot of action. People are also in love with this movie because from my own experience when I went to see the movie it was the third week and the movie theater still had a lot of people.

Overall the movie was really good. I would recommend you to see the movie or get it on DVD. The action and the twist keeps you sucked in and make you want to see more. Go see the movie.

Intro to the blog

My blog is about movies. The movies will be rated and have a review. There will be different types of movies discussed such as new releases, what’s out on DVD and even movies that are coming out on T.V. It will show the actors and actress in the movies. It may also show deleted scenes from the movie.

   

My name Imani Smith and I am in the 9^th grade. I like to read and play tennis. My favorite color is purple. I am writing this blog because I like movies and so do most people. I am also writing this to keep people informed about the last movies and how they are doing.

  

 When reading this blog you should expect to see the movie ratings. You should also expect to see how much the movies are making and the top 10 movies. It will show what people think about the movie and there opinions. You should expect the actors and actresses thoughts of their movie and why you should go see it.
