Winners from the 20th annual MTV Movie Awards (AP)

The MTV MovieAwards premiered Sunday June 5, 2011. Robert Pattinson won best male performance for the movie "Twilight Saga: Eclipse". "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" won best movie. Best female performance went to Kristen Stewart for "Twilight Saga: Eclipse". Emma Stone won best comedic performance for "Easy A". Best villain is Tom Felton in"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1". 

Best kiss went to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart for "Twilight Saga: Eclipse".  Best Fight: Robert Pattinson vs. Bryce Dallas Howard and Xavier Samuel, "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse." Hangover sequel takes $31 million on first day

                 Hangover 2 makes $31 million after one day. Critics say that Hangover 2 is just like Hangover. In Hangover 2, they are in Bangkok instead of in Las Vegas. Hangover made 468 million dollars. It was the most successful rated R movie. 

Hangover 2 is funnier than Hangover. The comedy is great. Everybody went to see Hangover 2. Hangover 2 will be in the box office for along time. The movie will make a lot more money.

                       Top Box Office Movies

       Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides made $90.2 million. It is number one in the box office. Number two is Bridesmaids making $20.9 million. In third place is Thor making $15.4 million. Forth in the box office is Fast Five making $10.6 million. Priest made $4.7 million coming in fifth place in the box office. Rio made $4.7 million coming sixth place in the box office. In seventh place is Jumping the Broom making $3.7 million. Something Borrowed made $3.5 million coming in eighth place.Water For Elephants came in ninth place making $2.2 million. Tyler Perry's Madea's Big Happy Family came in last place making $960 thousand.

Bridesmaids will probably come first in the box office after is been out for a while. Bridesmaids biggest competition will be Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Jumping the Broom may drop down in the box office because a lot of people say it is not as funny as the commercial makes it seems.

Pirates' Star Sam Claflin Gets Ready To Play Kristen Stewart's Prince Charming In 'Snow White & The Huntsman'

         Sam Clafin is a new British actor on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. He's next big movie is Snow White and the Huntsman. He will being playing Price Charming. Sam's co-star will be The Twilight Saga star Kristen Steward. She will be playing Snow White. 

         Sam Clafin is a new actor and he is 24 years old. He has not meet Kristen but he happy to be able to meet her. Kristen Steward is one of the main actress in The Twilight Saga.

                             Madea's Big Happy Family

Madea's Big Happy Family is about a mother finding out that she is dying of cancers and tries to bring her kids together so she can tell them. But her kids are dealing with thier own problems with each other and with thier own families. Madea's has to try to bring this family together so that there mother can tell them.

 This movie like other Tyler Perry movies is hilarious. It has its funny moments and it also has its serious moments. I liked the movie. On certain part it makes you want to cry. The movie as the whole theater cracking up. Tyler Perry did a great job.

Some actors/actress are Tyler Perry, Shad "Bow Wow" Moss, David Mann, Tamela J. Mann , and Cassi Davis.
Tyler Perry is also the directer. The movie came out in 2011.

                                                           Rio

            Rio is about a macaw bird named Blu who is domesticated and can't fly. He lives in a bookstore with his owner in Minnesota. When someone from Brazil comes and tells her that Blu is the last male bird of his kind and they want to mate him with the last female of their kind, they go to Brazil. There Blu goes on an adventure. He meets other birds, bird smugglers and falls in love.

            Rio is a good movie especially for the little kids. They do a lot of sing. The songs are ones the kids can sing. It is very entertaining for kids. The jokes are funny too. The 3D version is good. I would recommend this for kids.

            Some on the voices in the movie are Will.i.am, Anna Hathaway, Jesse Eisenberg, Jamie Foxx and George Lopez. The movie came out April 15, 2011. It is available in 3D and regular version. It is a comedy and animation.

                            Hanna

Hanna is about a teenage girl. Her father, who is an ex-CIA agent, is raising her to be an assassin. She becomes the perfect assassin. Then her father sends her out on a mission. From that point the movie is none stop action. 

Hanna is an action packed movie from beginning to end. I want to see this movie. It looks like as good movie, especially for someone who like action movies. The movie will become the top in the box office. Hanna was released April 8, 2011.

     Third 'Dark Night' to film in Pittsburgh (AP)

               Dark Night is said to filming in Pittsburgh. This will be that last Batman. The film is directed by Christopher Nolan. It will stare Christian Bale as Batman. Bruce Wayne will play the alter ego.  The first two Batman's were 'Batman Begin' and 'The Dark Night'.

     

               This film should be good. A lot of people went to see the first and second movie so they will most likely will see the third one. The first two movies in the box office. The film makers are hoping this one will to.

                                                          Hop 

Hopped is about a bunny named E.B. and he is in next in line to become the Easter bunny except he doesn't want to be. He would rather play the drums in a rock band. When it gets close to his time to become the Easter bunny he runs away from home. He then gets ran over by Fred O'Hare. Fred lives at home with his parents. Fred lets E.B. live with him.

Hop is more a kids movie. I is a movie you can some one younger in your family to see. The movie is a comedy.  The movie came put at a perfect time. It is rated PG. The movie was released on April 1, 2011.


The movie is an animation. Some actors/actresses in hop are Russell Brand, James Madison, and Elizabeth Perkins. I would recommend you take the younger kids to see this movie.

       Beastly is a modern day Beauty and the Beast. A boy who in love with his looks get turned ugly by a witch. He has one year to find someone to love him or he as to stay ugly forever. The witch put a tattoo on hes arm. It is a vine when the flowers bloom than his year is up. He falls in love with a girl and she loves him no matter what. 


      I have seen Beastly. It was a good movie. If you like romance than you will like Beastly. This movie came out March 4, 2011. Some actors/actress are Alex Pettyfer, Mary-Kate Olsen ans Vanessa Hudgens. The movie is rated PG-13.

                Review: Snyder's 'Sucker Punch'      Feel Like One (AP)  

Sucker Punch is about a girl named Babydoll who is an herein addict. Her mother dies and her and her sister gets sent to live with there stepfather. Babydoll stepfather kills her sister and blames Babydoll. She gets sent away to Battleboro Vt. She is sent to a hospital that is not funny. While she is there she makes a fantasy and she and some inmates escape.

I want to see the Sucker Punch. Sucker Punch looks like a good movie. It will have a lot of action. The movie came out March 25, 2011. I is rated PG-13. Some actor/actress in the movie are Vanessa Hudgens, Emily Browning, and Abbie Cornish.

                             Red Riding Hood

Red Riding Hood is a modern day movie based on the book Little Red Riding Hood. A girl named Valerie lives in a little town. Every full moon a werewolf comes and terrorizes the town. The towns priest calls a priest know to get rid of werewolves. One night when the werewolf comes it starts to talk her. She now has to find out who the werewolf is. On top of having to deal with the werewolf she as to choose between two boys the one she is in love with and the one her family chose her to be engaged with.

I went to see Red Riding Hood. It was a very good movie. It had a lot of twist to it. The movie makes you think one thing and something different the next. The movie is now # 3 in the box office. I think it will become number 1 in the box office. I think everybody should go see Red Riding Hood.

           'For Colored Girls' a big winner at Image Awards

Tyler Perry shows and movies won a lot of awards. The movie 'For Colored Girls' won 3 prizes from the NAACP. The movie won best picture, director, and supporting actress. Tyler Perry's House of Payne won best outstanding comedy series. His other show, Meet the Browns, also won best actor in comedy series.

I have seen For Colored Girls. It was a good movieow problems that anyone can go through. The also show The show House of Payne is a good show. It is a very funny show. Meet the Browns is also a good show. It is funny.

                         Big Mammas: Like Father, Like Son 

     Big Mammas: Like Father Like Son is  about a FBI agent ( Martin Lawrence) and his son, Trent, (Brandon T. Jackson) go undercover at an all girls school because Trent witnessed a murder. They try to stay undercover but get discovered. They have to fight the bad guys. 

     I think to movie was good. I have seen all the big mamma movies. I think they are all good. This one was the best. I had music and romance. Brandon T. Jackson was good in the movie. I would want him to be in another one.

         'Inception,' 'Social Network' Win at Writer Awards (AP)

Inception and Social Network won a writer awards.  Inception wrote by Christopher Nolan won for best original screen play.  The winning for Inception was a surprise because it was tied was Black Swan and The Fighter. The Social Network written by Aaron Sorkin won best adapted screen play. The wining for Social Network was expected.

I think the Social Network was Good. Im not surprised it won. I did not see Inception so i did not if it was going to win. But some of the movies it was against was very good. Some other movies that won are Toy Story 3 and Winter's Bone.

        `Roommate' earns top box-office bunk with $15.6M (AP)  

 

           The Roommate is about a psycho freshmen in collage who obsessed with her new roommate. This movie was released February 4, 2011. Some actors/actress in the movie are Leighton Meester as rebecca, Minka Kelly as Sara Matthews, and Cam Gidandet as Stephen ect, This a horror movie rated PG-13.

            The Roommate is number 1 in the box office. The movie is grossed $15.6 million. This a surprise since this is super bowl weekend. People do not usually do not come to the movie because they are preparing for the big game. This good for the movie because this is just the opening weekend and it making a lot of money.

              I want to go see the roommate. The movie looks very good and interesting and by how much it made it must be. I cant wait to see the movie for myself. If you like like horror or thriller movies you should do see The Roommate.

                       Eastwood and Beyonce Discussing 'A Star Is Born'

Clint Eastwood and Beyonce are talking about making a movie together. They are talking about remaking A Star Is Born, a 1973 movie. It might be remade into a musical. Beyonce is going to be the star of the movie. There has been no finalization on the movie.

Beyonce is an ok actress, When she did the movie Obsessed she was ok. The was not all that. She might be better in this movie because it is going a musical. She will be able to sing more than act. I have never seen or heard of the movie A Star Is Born but it sounds like a movie Beyonce will be good in.

       The green hornet is about a party boy, Britt Reid, who father dies and he is left with a media empire. One night Brit and his diver Kato stop a robbery. This starts a new life for them of fighting crime. Britt becomes the green hornet.

        This movie is just another hero movie like batman. The green hornet go's around fight bad guys and saving the world. The green hornet has some comedy in it to. Green Hornet is number one in the box office. Grossing 33.5 million dollars. 

        The Green Hornet was released January 14, 2011. Some actors/actresses are Seth Rogen as Britt Reid, Jay Chou as Kato, and Cameron Diaz as Lenore Case. I think people should go see this movie especially if you like hero movies.

                                                            Gulliver's Travel

      The movie Gulliver's Travel is about Gulliver being washed up on an island of little people. He is a gaint compared to them. During the movie Gulliver makes a godlike status for himself. An evil Generl trys to get rid of Gulliver and trys to expose his lies. While the Generl is trying to expose Gulliver, Gulliver ends up fighting a transformer.

      
       I think this movie is kinda stupid. the prerviews make you not want to go see it. I though it might be funny because it has jack black in it. Jack Black is usually funny. You can see the movie 3D. I think the movie will be better in 3D.

                                                             Little Focker 

         Little Fockers is the third movie in the sequel "Meet the Parents" it is about Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) trying to impress Jack just like in the other 2 movies.  Jack is going to tell Greg that is now the "Godfocker" after Jack has a heart attack. The  movie has very funny moments.
          I want to see the Little Fockers. It looks very funny from the previews. Little Fockers is going to be like "Meet the Fockers". I have heard the movie is funny. I plan to go see it and see of it is as funny as I heard it was.
          Some actors/actresses are Ben Stiller, Jessica Alba Robert De Niro, Teri Polo and more.  The movie was released December 22, 2010.  The movie is making a lot of money. The actors/actresses are said to make 70 million salary.
